When there’s a will, there’s a way.

I get what I want out of my hardware! I wanted a blacklight on code#6 (near the top of this picture), and I wanted the other 2 non-blacklights on code#7. You can see the 2 boxes dialed to 6 and 7. But I *also* wanted a lamp on a lamp module (so it’s dimmable) on code #2. So I needed 3 x10 modules.

But I only had 2 plugs there! 1955ish 2-prong plugs!

So I bought one of those "2 prong to 6 prong outlet replacements". This gave me enough width that I could plug the lamp adapter into it, and still have room for a 2prong-to-3prong adapter (grey), which is then split by my 1plug-to-3plug adapter (orange), giving room for 2 3-prong x10 appliance modules to be plugged in.
Of course, I actually need to plug TWO items in the #7 x10 module (center), so I use a brown plug adapter to turn the 1 plug into 2 plugs.

FREAKIN’ COMPLICATED, but when you don’t have many outlets, you get as much as you can out of each one. Being able to turn on 4 different items and dim a lamp is pretty good for 2 2-prong plugs.

Our crazy outlet setup to incorporate X10 and multiple lamps and stuff.

1plug to 2plug adapter, 1plug to 3plug adapter, 2plug to 6plug adapter, 2prong to 3prong adapter, X10 appliance module, X10 lamp module, electrical outlet, extension cord, plugs.
